Babymoon

We had the perfect desert getaway weekend at Rancho Las Palmas. Since I'm 8 months pregnant we designated this vacation our official babymoon. Being on a babymoon we enjoyed various babymoon activities such as sipping mocktails poolside, floating weightlessly in the tranquility pool and dining at local trendy gay restaurants in Palm Springs. I was in pure rest and relaxation mode waddling around the resort and getting spa treatments like the Ice Cream Pedicure where I enjoyed a pint of Haagen Dazs ice cream while getting my feet pampered, it was the perfect way to decompress. Gary was more active and productive and was able to spend a few hours at the gym, more power to him. We spent the majority of our time at the "tranquility" pool where we basked in the sun and enjoyed poolside drinks. I debated what type of swimsuit is most appropriate for an 8 month pregnant lady and decided a string bikini is my best bet - no holds barred! I let it all hang out and enjoyed my time lounging poolside next to my very supportive husband. All told it was the perfect babymoon prescription of R&R before welcoming a newborn and numerous sleepless nights into our lives.
